Harsha Nagaraja is a highly experienced MD and VP of Engineering at Ubyon, a company that provides easy and secure networking solutions for application teams, infrastructure, and services across public/private clouds and DC. With over 23 years of relevant experience, Harsha has a proven track record of delivering complex embedded systems and cloud-native microservices with varying team sizes of 15 to 100 engineers. Before joining Ubyon, Harsha worked at Hewlett Packard, where he held several senior-level positions, including Senior Director of Engineering and Software Engineering Manager. During his tenure, he led the transformation of Aruba's embedded software delivery model to cloud-based microservices and delivered SDWAN IDPS security solutions. He also led the team in delivering the next-gen High Availability (HA) software and access point load balancer on WLAN controllers. Additionally, he contributed to savings in Opex and Capex expenditure through the development of an in-house infrastructure simulation tool and improving the quality of development and test team deliverables. Harsha has also led and delivered L2/L3 features in VRRP/LACP/DHCP for WLAN portfolios and enabled IPv6 deployments. He has led the team in enhancing firewall debuggability with in-line rolling-buffer packet-capture functionality and led the US government FIPS/Common Criteria program, implementing security software requirements from control plane to crypto hardware support to successfully certified software. Harsha's technical skillset includes expertise in infrastructure, microservices, CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS, test, Azure, and integration. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Technology from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. Harsha is a speaker at Aruba's customer conferences and has collaborated with Product Managers in pre-sales and post-sales opportunities.
